Document in Unsupported Language

Learn what to do if your identity verification document is in an unsupported language.

Our eKYC provider's system cannot process documents written in specific languages unless they are accompanied by a Latin transliteration.

 

What You Should Do

If your document is in a language our system doesn't support, you will need to obtain a notarized English translation to proceed.

 

To accomplish this, contact a translation agency or a professional translator to convert the document. Then, have the translation authenticated by a notary. This process involves the notary observing the translator sign the translation and confirming its accuracy. Many translation agencies offer notarized translation services, allowing you to complete both tasks in one convenient location.

 

Notarized translations must meet four key requirements:

1. The translated text must be clear and legible.

2. The translator's full name and signature must be included in the translation.

3. The notary's full name and signature must also be included.

4. A notary seal must be present on the translation.

 

When submitting your documents, make sure to include both the original document and its notarized translation. If asked to take a selfie with the document, be sure to use the original document for the photo, not the translated version.

What You Should Not Do
