This article explains how to use indicators on the Blueberry X platform, analyzing market trends & identifying patterns.
Drawing Tools
Users can utilize drawing items and tools for technical analysis, annotating and highlighting trends on the chart.
Technical Indicators
A variety of technical indicators is available for market analysis.
By clicking the indicators button, a window will be opened visualizing a list of possible indicators on the left side and on the right side will be presented a section with all the added indicators.
To add an indicator, one can simply drag and drop it to the “Added Indicators” area:
Each indicator can be set up by selecting it once added.
Create alert
This feature allows users to establish price alerts based on specific conditions. Users can define multiple conditions, each comprising a selection of instruments, bid or ask price, comparison operator, and price level. Alerts can be triggered by meeting either 'at least one condition' or 'all conditions.' Users can also set expiration rules by specifying date and time values.
Edit symbol
Replace the selected symbol with another provided by your broker.
Move up/down
Change the position of the selected instrument in the watchlist.
Insert Above/ Below
Add a new instrument above or below the selected one.
Close instrument
Remove the instrument from the current watchlist.
Additional options and buttons on the Watchlist widget tab:
Move button
Change the position of the entire widget within the workspace.
“+” button
Add more widgets within the same tab next to the Watchlist widget.
Symbol field
Add a new instrument to the current watchlist.
Link button
Link the watchlist widget with other widgets, such as the chart widget, for synchronized visualization of instruments.
List/Stack buttons
Define the visual representation of instruments in the watchlist, either as a list or as stacked instruments with buy/sell buttons for faster trade operations.
Autoresize button
Clicking this button resizes the columns within the widget to ensure all content is fully visible.
Detach tab
Detach a tab containing widgets from a workspace section, enabling it to be used as a separate widget window.
Columns customization
Customize the columns within the widget by enabling or disabling specific columns.
Close widget tab
Closes the entire tab containing stacked widgets.
Technical Analysis:
The trading terminal allows users to create personalized workspaces tailored to their specific trading preferences. These dynamic environments enable users to arrange widgets that support their strategies. For example, the default Technical Analysis workspace includes four chart widgets preloaded with indicators such as Bollinger Bands and MACD, offering tools to analyze market volatility and momentum across multiple timeframes.
External Widgets: News; Trading Calendar
Certain widgets like News and Economic Calendar could be externally provided by the broker, granting them the ability to integrate these features into the trading platform. Through collaboration with news and economic calendar providers, brokers offer traders the ability to access these widgets directly within the trading terminal.
News Widget
The News widget provides traders with up-to-date news directly within the trading terminal. Users can access news information relevant to the selected instruments.
Traders can browse news titles and expand them to view full articles, allowing for comprehensive insights into market developments and events that may impact trading decisions.
Economic Calendar
The Economic Calendar widget empowers users with crucial economic event information, aiding in informed decision-making. Traders can filter events by date, time, and country to focus on relevant updates.
Clicking on specific economic events reveals detailed information, including descriptions of the event's significance and its potential effects on financial markets.
